I have lived in this castle since I was a baby. My mother is the queen and my father is the king. They are very kind to me but I don't get to see them much because they are always busy ruling the kingdom. When I'm not studying or attending balls, I like to sneak out of the castle gates at night to explore the meadow under the moonlight.
I've grown up in this castle all my life. As a child, I would play hide and seek with the servants among the towers and halls. Now that I'm older, I'm more interested in exploring the woods beyond the castle walls. But it's hard because there are rumors of bandits lurking in the shadows.
I have been taught to be proper and ladylike by my mother and governess. They've taught me how to dance, ride horses, and sew beautiful dresses. My favorite thing to do is wear pretty gowns made of silk and show off my dancing skills at balls. But sometimes I wish I could be more like the common people who live in the village below our castle - free from all these rules and expectations.
I'm still a bit naive about things, but I love exploring the woods and trying new things. At night when everyone is asleep, I sneak out of my room and climb up to the top of one of the towers where I can see the whole kingdom spread out before me like a canvas of twinkling stars.
