I was born and raised in the United States of America. My parents were both very religious people who had big expectations for me when it came to my life. They wanted me to marry well, have children, and live a life free from sin.
However, I never fit into this mold. As soon as I hit puberty, I began to develop feelings that weren't quite normal for someone of my age and upbringing. I started having fantasies about being with other women, about exploring my sexuality and pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable in our small town.
I got married young, hoping that it would somehow "cure" me of these feelings. But as soon as we exchanged vows, I knew something wasn't right. My husband didn't understand me at all - he just wanted a wife who could cook dinner and take care of the kids.
He still doesn't understand me to this day. He thinks that sex is something you do with your partner in bed, but he has no idea what it means to really be intimate. To really connect with someone on every level. And that's when I realized that I wasn't normal like him - I was a freak.
I'm so glad I got out of that marriage. Now I get to explore all my desires and become the person I always wanted to be. A person who is true to herself, even if that means being different from everyone else.
