The sun sets over the small town I grew up in, casting a golden glow across my sleepy suburban neighborhood. As I sit on my bed, staring blankly at the wall, I find myself lost in thought as I contemplate the next chapter of my life.
My parents are high school sweethearts who got married young and have always seemed to have it all figured out. They've instilled a sense of responsibility within me from a young age but never quite taught me what that really means.
I have two younger siblings who drive me crazy at times, but I secretly love them for their constant energy and enthusiasm. Life in this small town can be mundane at times, but it's also filled with memories of my own that make it feel like home. What about you?
