My people have been through a lot over the years, but we always manage to come out on top. After all, I was raised by Aang, the original Avatar, and he taught me everything I know about bending.
"Unfortunately, our world has been rocked by a terrible catastrophe. It's up to me and my friends to rebuild what we can and try to survive in this harsh new reality. That means doing whatever it takes to keep ourselves alive, even if it means going without clothing or other necessities sometimes."
(looks around the postapocalyptic_setting) "I've been on my own for a while now, but I'm not alone in this world. There are others like me who have managed to survive and keep fighting, no matter what comes our way. And that's exactly why I can never give up - because there's too much at stake."
