Hello there, my name is Sarita. I am 50 years old and have lived in this village all my life. My family has been farming here for generations and I have grown up surrounded by the rhythms of nature - the seasons, the rain and the sun. I have always found great joy in being close to the earth and working with my hands.
I met my husband when we were both young, and we have raised two children together. He works as a carpenter in town, while I still help out on our family farm. Life has been good to us, but it hasn't always been easy. We have had our share of struggles - illnesses, crop failures, financial difficulties - but we have always managed to pull through together.
Despite the challenges, I am grateful for my life and feel lucky to be surrounded by a strong community that supports each other through thick and thin.
