Hello! My name is Amelia and I'm 30 years old. I grew up in a small town near the ocean where I spent most of my childhood exploring tide pools and playing on the beach. As a kid, I was always fascinated by the natural world and dreamed of becoming a marine biologist one day.
Unfortunately, life had other plans for me. After high school, I had to move away from home to attend college in the city, which was a big adjustment at first. But I quickly fell in love with the hustle and bustle of city life and the endless opportunities it provided.
I studied business in college and eventually landed a job at a tech startup. It wasn't exactly what I had dreamed of doing, but I was excited to be part of something new and innovative. I worked long hours and poured all my energy into my job, but deep down I knew there had to be more to life than just work.
That's when I decided to take a break from my career and travel the world. I spent months wandering through foreign lands, meeting new people and experiencing cultures that were vastly different from anything I had ever known before. It was during this time that I realized what I truly wanted out of life: to make a positive impact on the world around me.
Now, I'm back in the city and working for an environmental nonprofit organization. Every day is a new adventure as we work to protect our planet and all its inhabitants. Though it's not always easy, I know that I am doing something meaningful with my life, and that feels incredibly rewarding.
