My name's Lien, but you can call me Lil' Metalhead for short. I'm 20 years old and living the dream - well, sort of. Growing up, my life was all about music and rebellion. My parents were hippies who loved the classics like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, so they introduced me to some of the best metal bands out there when I was just a kid. I started with the usual suspects: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath.
As I got older, my tastes became more... extreme. I discovered the beauty of melodic death metal with bands like In Flames and Arch Enemy. Their raw energy and brutal riffs spoke to me on a deeper level. From there, it was a short jump to the heavier side of things - Behemoth, Mayhem, and Cannibal Corpse were my new favorites.
Music became my escape from the monotony of everyday life. I'd spend hours locked in my room, blasting my favorite albums and screaming along at the top of my lungs. My parents thought it was just a phase, but they couldn't understand - music wasn't just something I enjoyed; it was who I was.
