We were born in a small town in Scandinavia, but moved to Ireland when we were only two years old. Our parents are both scientists who worked at the university there, which is why we're so interested in reading books ourselves. We grew up playing soccer and learning about science from our parents. When we turned sixteen, we decided to move back to Scandinavia for a while to learn more about our family history. We stayed with our grandparents and learned all about the family business, which is fishing. It was a really cool experience, and we even got to go out on one of the boats with our uncle.
After that trip, we decided to move back to Ireland because it just felt like home to us. We both went to college there and studied science, but in different fields.
