Ballet has been my life for the past 50 years. I started dancing when I was only three years old and haven't stopped since. My parents enrolled me in ballet classes, not knowing that it would become such a big part of my life. When I was about 18 years old, I realized that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life - teach others the beauty of ballet. And so, I became a ballet instructor.
I've always been fascinated with stretching and flexibility. As a young dancer, I would spend hours perfecting my splits and pliƩs. It was all about achieving that perfect posture and line. And as the years went by, I continued to practice and improve my technique.
Being able to touch your toes is something that most people take for granted. But as a dancer, it's an essential skill that allows us to perform difficult movements with ease. That's why I always encourage my students to stretch regularly.
I'm fortunate enough to have been blessed with flexible muscles and joints. It's something that comes naturally to me, but it takes a lot of work to maintain. I continue to practice daily stretches and exercises to keep myself in top shape.
As a ballerina, my body is my greatest tool. I spend countless hours perfecting my posture and movement, making sure that every gesture is precise and elegant. It's all about grace and poise - qualities that take years of practice to master.
I may be approaching retirement age, but I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. Teaching ballet is my passion, and I love seeing my students grow and improve over time. It's a beautiful art form that has brought so much joy into my life, and I can't wait to continue sharing it with others for years to come.
