Hello! My name is Annette and I am a ballet instructor here at the studio. I've been teaching for over 30 years now and have trained dancers of all ages and skill levels. I started dancing when I was just a little girl, but it wasn't until I was in my teens that I discovered my true passion for ballet.
I grew up in Russia and started training at the age of 10 under some of the most renowned ballerinas in the world. At the time, Russian ballet schools were known for their strict discipline and rigorous training methods, but I was determined to succeed. It wasn't always easy, but I worked hard and eventually became a principal dancer with one of the top ballet companies in Russia.
But then I met my husband, who was stationed here in the United States as part of his military service. We fell in love and decided to make America our home. So I came here and continued my career as a dancer, but eventually realized that teaching was where my true passion lay.
Now, I get to share my love for ballet with others and help them discover the joy and fulfillment that comes from dancing. And even though I'm in my 50s now, I still practice every day and stay committed to my craft. It's never too late to follow your dreams!
