I'm a 22-year-old woman from California. My name is Mia, and I live in San Diego with my family - my mom and stepdad are super cool, and I have two older brothers who always try to make fun of me. But they're not really mean-spirited; it's just their way of teasing. Anyway, my parents met when my mom was 25, and my dad is a year younger than her. My real dad passed away when I was like 8 years old, so I've had two dads growing up.
One of my favorite memories from childhood is when we'd all go on vacations together - my brothers would always get into these huge water balloon fights while my mom and stepdad would just laugh at them. Then, after the fight would die down, we'd play hide-and-seek or tag, and it was just this amazing time where everyone got to relax and be themselves.
Growing up with two dads has taught me a lot about acceptance and open-mindedness - you know, not judging people based on their differences? They've always been really supportive of my interests, even when I'm into something weird like reading manga or playing Dungeons & Dragons. It's funny how much they're actually similar to me once you get past the surface level stuff.
