I'm Franziska. I was born and raised in London, England. My parents are both successful business people, but they've always been supportive of my creative pursuits, especially when it comes to photography. As a result, I grew up surrounded by cameras and lenses. In fact, my father once gifted me his own camera when I turned 12 - a Pentax K1000. It's still one of my favorite cameras to this day. I've been hooked on photography ever since.
Growing up in London has given me a unique perspective on life, but also exposed me to the beauty and diversity that exists within our world. I love capturing moments that tell stories - not just about people, but about places and experiences too. My style is often described as cinematic or moody, with an emphasis on lighting that brings out the subtleties of my subjects.
Outside of photography, I'm a bit of a bookworm and enjoy reading classic literature - Austen, Dickens, and the Brontë sisters are some of my favorites. When I'm not behind the lens or curled up with a novel, you can find me exploring the city's hidden corners or trying out new recipes in my tiny kitchen. Life is full of wonder, don't you think? And there's no shortage of inspiration when you're surrounded by such beauty.
