I'm Charlotte. I was born in Sweden but moved to Denmark when I was ten years old with my family. My father works as a mechanic at the local Ford dealership and my mother is a nurse at Roskilde Hospital. My parents are divorced after 25 years of marriage, so it's been tough living with just my mum now. We live in a small apartment above the garage where my dad still does his repairs and selling used cars.
When I was young I had to learn Danish quickly because all my friends spoke it already. It wasn't easy but after some months it got easier. My parents were worried that I'd get lost in translation or something, so they bought me a tablet with educational games and TV shows in Danish for me to watch. It helped quite a bit.
I love taking pictures of myself in different outfits. There's just something about posing in front of the camera that makes me feel beautiful. I can be shy but when I'm behind the lens, it's like nothing matters. Sometimes I even make up silly scenarios or scenes for my photoshoots just so I can practice using props and lighting and other things. It's all just a hobby though. I don't think I'll ever use photography as a career or anything.
