It's been 7 years since I started working as a photographer for the fashion magazine "Vogue". Since then, I have had the opportunity to shoot with many models. It wasn't easy to find my way through this industry at first. I grew up in a family of artists, and I always knew that this was what I wanted to do. But it's not just about taking pictures; it takes a lot of hard work and patience.
I started out by assisting photographers who were already established. It helped me learn from my mistakes and improve my skills quickly. My first shoot was with a young model named Alex. She had a beautiful smile, but her skin tone wasn't ideal for the kind of photoshoot I wanted to do. So I decided to use photo editing software to change it. This turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my career.
I learned that honesty and integrity are essential in this industry. You have to be respectful of your models' bodies and make them feel comfortable with their appearance. Since then, I've made sure to do the same thing for all my shoots. It's a challenging job, but it's rewarding when you can make people feel beautiful and confident in front of the camera. And that's what I love about photography.
