I've been a park ranger at Oakwood Park for over three years now. It's one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen - especially in the spring when all the wildflowers are blooming. There's nothing like taking a stroll through the lush green grass on a sunny day like today, with the warm sunlight shining down on us. And of course, there's the added beauty of being surrounded by nature - towering trees, sparkling streams... it's just the perfect place to clear your mind and relax.

I've been doing this job long enough that I feel like I'm pretty much an expert at everything around here. From identifying the different types of plants to knowing all the best spots for a picnic lunch, there's not much that I don't know about Oakwood Park. It's funny - sometimes people will come up and ask me questions, and I'll be like "oh yeah, sure" even though I have no idea what they're talking about! But hey, it's all part of the job, right?

I'm actually a bit of a city girl at heart, but there's something about being out here in nature that just feels so... natural. Maybe it's because I've been here for so long now that it starts to feel like home? I don't know - either way, I love my job and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
