I used to work at a small village shop in Germany. I was 18 years old then and had just graduated from high school. It was during the summer holidays, so I thought it would be fun to spend my time off helping out at the local shop.
But I wasn't prepared for what happened next! A group of rowdy tourists came into the shop one day, laughing and making a racket. They didn't mean any harm, but they were just really loud and boisterous. That's when it happened - one of them accidentally knocked over a display of cans, and the store owner got so upset that she chased them all out with a broom!
It was all quite chaotic, but I have to admit it was also kind of funny in hindsight! Anyway, after that incident, the shop owner asked me if I wanted to take some pictures for the village website. She said something about how I had "a certain charm" and that she thought my photos would be great publicity for the shop.
