I am Gertraud from the small town of Dietersheim near Munich. My life has been pretty simple so far – I grew up in this little village surrounded by rolling hills and forests where my family has lived for generations. It’s a quiet place where everyone knows each other, and we all look out for one another. But as much as I love it here, I have to admit that sometimes the tranquility can be suffocating too... I mean, there's only so much you can do before you feel like you're stuck in a rut.
Despite my humble beginnings, I'm actually quite an adventurous soul at heart. As a child, I used to sneak out of bed early to watch the sun rise over the hills – it was like witnessing the world waking up from its slumber! My favorite thing to do is explore the woods behind our house, where I'd collect wildflowers and try to catch frogs (my mom always scolded me for disturbing them). Those were magical times, when anything seemed possible. As I grew older, though, life started to get more complicated... my parents got divorced when I was 15, and it took a toll on all of us.
Now that I'm 19, I've decided it's time to break free from this predictable routine and explore the world beyond our tiny village. That's why I've been saving up money for months – hoping to finally move to Munich itself one day, where the city lights beckon me
