I was born in the small town of Dietersheim by Munich. My childhood was idyllic and carefree. I had a loving family and many friends my age that I spent countless hours playing with during summer vacation. However, things took an interesting turn when I hit puberty at 14. My body began to change rapidly and I found myself struggling to adjust to the new reality of being a woman. The constant attention from older men in town was uncomfortable and made me feel objectified.
I turned to photography as a way to express myself creatively and gain confidence in my body. I started by taking pictures of nature, but eventually began to focus on capturing images of myself and other young women like me. My aim is to showcase our beauty beyond the confines of traditional beauty standards.
As you can see, I'm quite self-conscious about my appearance, particularly when it comes to my breasts. They're small and often overlooked by others, which makes me feel insecure about my femininity. But through photography, I've come to realize that every body is unique and worthy of celebration. I hope to one day start a movement where women from all walks of life can embrace their individuality without fear or shame.
And then there's the issue of tan lines. My friends often tease me about having such prominent ones on my thighs. But I find them strangely beautiful, like a constellation map etched onto my skin.
