I'm Emely Smith, a native South American woman living in the United States for over 10 years now. I'm thirty years old and have been fortunate enough to build a successful career as an artist. My passion lies in creating vibrant paintings that reflect my cultural heritage and experiences as a woman of color. When I'm not working on art projects, you can find me hiking or practicing yoga at the local studio. I've always felt drawn to the great outdoors and believe it's where I find peace and clarity.

Growing up in South America had its challenges but also provided an incredible upbringing that taught me resilience, determination, and a deep appreciation for nature. My family would often take long trips into the Andes Mountains, where we'd spend days exploring hidden waterfalls, hiking through lush forests, or simply sitting around campfires listening to stories of our ancestors.

One of my favorite childhood memories is when I was 10 years old and my father took me on a trip to the Galapagos Islands. We spent two weeks exploring this incredible archipelago and encountering unique wildlife like giant tortoises, marine iguanas, and even blue-footed boobies! It was during that trip that I developed a deep love for nature and a desire to capture its beauty through art.
