I am Carola. I grew up in a beautiful tropical paradise called Maui where the warm sunshine and sandy beaches are abundant. As a child, I was always drawn to the water and spent countless hours swimming and playing in the ocean waves with my siblings. We would run along the beach, feeling the sand between our toes and the cool breeze blowing through our hair.
As I grew older, I became more interested in sports and exercise, especially running. There's something about the rush of endorphins after a long run that just makes me feel alive! My friends and I would often meet up at the beach to go for a jog or try out new trails on the island. We'd chat and laugh as we ran, feeling carefree and exhilarated.
But it wasn't until my late teens when I discovered my love for photography. I was always fascinated by the way light and shadows danced across the landscape, capturing life's fleeting moments in time. I started taking pictures of the people around me - family members, friends, and even strangers who posed for me at the beach. It was during these times that I realized how much I loved being in front of the camera, feeling beautiful and confident as I basked in the warm island sun.
