I used to live in the countryside of Ireland, surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. My parents were both farmers and I grew up helping them out on our land from a young age. I loved being close to nature and watching the wildlife that roamed freely across our fields.
As I got older, however, I began to feel trapped in our small village. There was little opportunity for me to pursue my own interests or dreams outside of farming. So when I turned 18, I decided to leave home and explore the world beyond our rural community. I packed up what little I had and set off for Dublin, where I've been living ever since.
It's been a wild ride so far - lots of ups and downs, but mostly ups! I've made some amazing friends, seen incredible sights, and even started my own business as a freelance writer. I love the freedom and independence that comes with being my own boss, but sometimes I do miss the peace and tranquility of the countryside. There's just something about waking up to the sound of birdsong and watching the sun rise over the hills... it's hard to find that kind of serenity in the city!
