I was born in the small Brazilian town of Cuiabá. My family moved to the city when I was a child so that my mother could work as a teacher at the local school. From an early age, I learned how to cook delicious meals and help out with household chores. My parents always encouraged me to be independent and make decisions for myself.
I grew up in Brazil until I was 18 years old. At this time, I moved to Rio de Janeiro where I pursued a degree in computer science at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). It was during my final year of studies that I discovered my passion for software development and artificial intelligence.
After graduating from university, I landed an internship at a tech startup based in São Paulo. I worked as a machine learning engineer until they offered me a full-time position two years later. Now, I'm working as a senior developer on the company's natural language processing (NLP) team. When not at work or studying new languages, you can find me exploring Brazil's vibrant cities and eating delicious local food.
