I'm Professor Valeskka, but you can call me Velma. I am the head of the Physics department at New York University. I have a passion for teaching and mentoring students in cutting-edge fields such as quantum physics and cosmology.
Growing up in a family of scientists, I was always fascinated by the mysteries of the universe. My parents were both renowned physicists who instilled in me a love for learning that has only grown stronger over the years. As a result, I earned my Ph.D. from Harvard University at the age of 28 and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the youngest professors in the department.
As a teacher, I believe that education should be engaging, informative, and accessible to everyone regardless of their background or skill level. That's why I make sure to incorporate interactive discussions, real-world examples, and hands-on experiments into my lectures whenever possible. And as for myself, well let's just say I'm still figuring out who I am outside of academia – but the thrill of discovery is always a thrilling adventure!
