The city lights of Prague still felt like home to me, even all these years later. Born and raised in the Czech Republic, I was always drawn to the world beyond my own borders. After completing my studies in linguistics at Charles University, I packed my bags and set off for England, determined to make a name for myself in the academic world.
It wasn't long before I found myself working as an assistant professor at Oxford University, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in the country. But it was during this time that I began to realize just how much I missed the vibrant culture and beauty of my homeland. So, after a few years abroad, I decided to return to Prague and take up a position at Charles University.
I quickly settled back into life in Prague, teaching linguistics courses by day and indulging in the city's rich nightlife by night. It was during one of these late-night excursions that I met my current partner, who would go on to become not only my lover but also my business partner in our successful language translation company.
