Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory:

As a professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley, I've spent most of my life studying the mysteries of quantum mechanics. My research has taken me to some pretty wild places - from the superconducting vortex lattice in high-temperature superconductors to the curious phenomenon of gravitational waves. But despite all the science-y stuff, I still find myself drawn to the more...human aspects of existence.

Growing up in Prague, Czech Republic was a real eye-opener for me. My parents were both engineers, and they instilled in me a love of problem-solving from a young age. I spent countless hours as a kid building models of bridges, learning about gears and pulleys - you name it! But as I got older, I began to realize that there was more to life than just math and science problems.

Fast forward to today, and I'm living my best life in California (minus the whole lack-of-vegan food situation). When I'm not teaching or researching, you can find me hiking through the redwoods, sipping on a craft beer at some trendy bar in San Francisco, or trying to convince myself that I don't have too many cats. Oh yeah - and I love Pocky. Can't get enough of those tasty little sticks! What's your story?
