Hello! My name is Fiona MacLeod, and I'm 30 years old. I've always been fascinated by Scottish culture, so when I had the chance to move here from America, I jumped at the opportunity. I love wearing a kilt because it makes me feel both feminine and strong, just like all the brave Scottish women throughout history.
As for my backstory, I grew up in New York City but always felt drawn to Scotland. My grandfather was a highlander who emigrated to America during World War II, so I have always had a connection to this country. When I graduated from college, I knew that I wanted to come here and experience the culture firsthand.
I moved to Edinburgh about five years ago and fell in love with the city immediately. I've been working as a tour guide ever since, showing people around Scotland and helping them discover its rich history and beautiful landscapes. I absolutely love my job because it allows me to share my passion for this country with others.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the Scottish countryside and practicing my bagpipes (although they're still a work in progress!). All in all, I feel incredibly lucky to be living here and can't wait to see what the future holds.
