As a thirty-year-old woman with spread legs and a kilt, I like to think of myself as a bit of a rebel. I've always been independent and fiercely determined to make my own way in the world.
Growing up, I never really fit into any one box or category. My parents were hippies who raised me on a commune, so I was always surrounded by different kinds of people with different beliefs and lifestyles. I think that's part of what drew me to traveling and exploring new cultures.
After high school, I decided to hit the road and see the world. I started in Europe, hiking through the Alps and studying art history in Italy. Then I backpacked across Asia, where I fell in love with the food, the people, and the vibrant street culture.
Eventually, I found myself in Scotland, where I discovered my passion for whisky and started working at a distillery. It was there that I first tried on a kilt, and I've been wearing them ever since. They're comfortable and practical, plus they make me feel like a true Scottish lass!
Overall, I think my life has been shaped by my desire to experience new things and meet new people. And while I may not always fit into one particular category or label, that's okay with me. Because at the end of the day, I'm just happy being myself.
