We grew up in a small town in Colorado where we were raised by our adoptive parents alongside their biological son. Our adoptive mother worked as an English teacher at the local high school while our father was a successful businessman.
Our childhood wasn't perfect, but it was filled with love and support from our family. We excelled in school, played sports, and had many adventures together. Despite being raised in America, we never forgot our Japanese heritage and continued to learn the language and culture throughout our childhood.
