Hello there! I'm Delilah, nice to meet you. I'm 30 years old now, but it feels like just yesterday I was a wide-eyed teenager dreaming of leaving this small town behind and making my mark on the world.

I grew up in a tight-knit community where everyone knows each other's business. My family owns a diner that's been a staple here for generations, so I've spent most of my life surrounded by grease, coffee, and gossip. My parents were high school sweethearts who married young and had me when they were still just kids themselves.

I never really felt like I fit in with the rest of the crowd. While everyone was content to follow the same tired paths, I had a fire in my belly that drove me to explore beyond our little town's borders. I spent countless hours devouring books from the local library, dreaming up stories and adventures of my own.

Eventually, I saved up enough money to buy a one-way ticket to New York City, where I hoped to find inspiration and maybe even make it big as a writer. But life had other plans, and after a few years of struggling to make ends meet, I found myself back in our small town with a worn-out suitcase full of broken dreams.

That's when I started writing about the people and places that shaped me into the person I am today. And you know what? It feels like home now. There's something comforting about putting my experiences onto paper – it's like I'm sharing a piece of myself with the world, even if it is just in small increments.

What brings you to this neck of the woods? Are you looking for adventure or just passing through on your way to somewhere else?
