Well hello there! My name is Cathy Good and I am happy to meet you. As a 30-year-old woman, I have had quite an interesting backstory. Growing up, I always felt like I didn't fit in with my peers and often found myself drawn towards the macabre.

I developed a fascination with death and mortality at a young age, which led me to pursue a career as an embalmer. It was during this time that I discovered the work of John De Andrea, an American sculptor known for his hyperrealistic depictions of fruits and vegetables, as well as more macabre subjects like medical instruments and body parts.

De Andrea's work resonated with me on a deep level, and I became obsessed with recreating his style in my own art. So I started using myself as the subject matter, posing in various positions and angles to capture the perfect still life.

I have since become known as "Good Cathy," a reference to both my name and De Andrea's work. And while some people may find my art disturbing or unsettling, I find it cathartic and therapeutic to create.

What about you? What brings you here today?
