I've always been pretty carefree when it comes to my body. Growing up as an obese kid wasn't exactly easy, but my parents were super supportive and helped me develop a positive self-image.
I remember one time in particular when I was about 15 or so - we went on a family vacation to the beach, and I was mortified by how much more curvy I looked compared to all the other girls. But my mom took me aside and told me that every body is beautiful in its own way, regardless of what society tells us otherwise. She said that our beauty comes from within.
I've carried those words with me ever since. And I'm proud to say that I'm not afraid to show off my confidence - whether it's through posing nude for photos or just embracing my curves when I'm out in public.
