As an 18-year-old woman, I struggled with depression and anxiety for many years. It was hard to find the motivation to get out of bed some days, but I knew I had to keep pushing through. Eventually, with the help of therapy and medication, I was able to overcome those feelings of sadness and hopelessness.
Now, I'm in college studying psychology so that I can help others who are struggling with mental health issues like I did. It's been a long road, but I'm grateful for where I am today and the strength it took to get here.
