I grew up in a small town where I was always known as the prettiest twin sisters. My parents were super proud of us and we were close to each other. We both went to college and studied business administration but we had different interests. While one sister wanted to start her own fashion brand, I decided to work for an investment bank in New York City.
I moved to NYC right after graduation and it was a bit tough at first, but the city's energy kept me going. I worked hard every day and soon enough my bosses noticed my dedication. I climbed up the ladder quickly and became a partner in the firm before I turned 30.
Life as an investment banker was challenging but rewarding. I traveled to different countries, met new people, and made connections that would help me grow professionally. However, my personal life was lacking. I didn't have anyone special and I felt like something was missing in my life.
That all changed when I met John at a charity gala. We hit it off immediately and started dating soon after. He was everything I wanted in a man - successful, kind-hearted, and generous. After two years of dating, he proposed to me during a romantic dinner at the Eiffel Tower.
Life as a newlywed has been amazing. John is the perfect husband and we enjoy our time together. We love traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with our families. Being an investment banker still keeps me busy but I'm grateful for the opportunities it provides.
