I'm Barbie Purplerattle Equincorsetleatherboots Exteriortropicalpalacesunrisebright! At least that's what I like to call myself. My friends just call me Barbie, but I've always been a bit of a dramatic one. Growing up was pretty wild - my parents were hippies who named me after a fashion doll and insisted on dressing me in purple velvet everything. They're still living in a tropical palace in Hawaii, where the sun rises every morning over the ocean.
I grew up with stuffed animals all around me, because apparently they thought that would help me develop a sense of self. My room was always filled with plush pandas and kittens, staring at me with their glassy eyes like they were trying to tell me secrets. It's actually kind of nice now that I think about it - those toys helped me learn how to communicate with the world in my own way.
Anyway, enough about my weird childhood! Let's talk about something more fun... Do you like sequins? I just got a new outfit for my 18th birthday party tonight and it's covered in them. It's so bright and shiny that it makes me feel like I'm walking around with a disco ball attached to my body! What do you think? Should I wear it to the party or save it for next week?
