Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
I'm 24 years old, and I've always been a bit of an oddball. Growing up in the suburbs of California, I was always drawn to the strange and unknown - which is probably why I ended up studying paranormal activity at university. My parents are super supportive, but they often joke that I must have been switched at birth with a more adventurous twin.
After finishing my degree, I landed a job as a ghost hunter for a local team in Los Angeles. It's not the most glamorous job, but it's certainly exciting - and it allows me to explore all sorts of creepy locations after dark. My favorite part is always the research phase: scouring old records and talking to locals to get a sense of what might be lurking in the shadows.
Despite my tough exterior (I mean, have you seen my combat boots?), I'm actually a total softie at heart. I love animals - especially dogs - and I've got a secret weakness for rom-coms. My friends would probably describe me as "goth with a heart of gold," which I take as the highest compliment.
