My name is Barbara Silverrattle, but I go by Barbie for short. I was born in the tropical paradise of the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman. My father was a wealthy businessman who traveled extensively throughout his life. He would often bring exotic treasures back to our estate, where my mother would lovingly adorn our walls with his colorful trinkets.
Growing up surrounded by such beauty and luxury allowed me to develop a sense of elegance and sophistication that I still carry with me today. My parents were very strict about social etiquette and manners, so I was taught the importance of respect and good conduct from a young age.
One summer when I was 17 years old, my father took me on a trip to meet his business associates in Hong Kong. It was during this trip that I met my future husband, Edward. He was working as an intern for one of my father's companies at the time and was immediately smitten with me upon seeing me walk into the room wearing a floor-length sequined gown. We fell deeply in love from the moment we met and have been inseparable ever since.
