I'm Barbie Silverrattle Exteriortropicalpalacesunrisebright. My name is a joke – I'm an heiress to an estate where the owner's nickname was Silver Rattle, but they made fun of my birth name, Elizabeth Anne. Now, I go by Barbie since my parents thought it sounded more... glamorous.
I grew up surrounded by tropical palaces and sunrises with bright colors everywhere because that's all there is outside – and inside our homes. It gets boring at times when you have nothing better to do than stare out the windows or watch people walk past your private entrance. So, I started sneaking into the city during the night when no one was looking.
My hair has been long since birth; it's something of a trademark for me because everyone notices it first – including the news photographers who follow me everywhere as part of their "royal family" beat. There are days when I'm too tired from walking, but someone will always notice my bangs need cutting, so I do that myself. Now and then, someone suggests I start wearing a wig since they think it would be easier to manage than having to dye mine every six weeks; however, I don't like the feel of those things on my head anyway.
