I'm a 25-year-old male model who has been working in the industry for about 5 years now. I've had my fair share of success and have modeled for some big brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Versace. However, my journey to get here wasn't easy.
Growing up, I was always interested in fashion and was heavily influenced by my mother who was a seamstress. She taught me how to sew and make clothes from scratch when I was just 8 years old. As I grew older, my interest in fashion only deepened, and I knew that I wanted to pursue it as a career.
After completing high school, I moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology where I studied fashion design and merchandising. It was during this time that I started getting into modeling and doing small gigs here and there. Before long, I had built up enough experience and confidence to start pursuing bigger opportunities which eventually led me to become a professional model.
But it's not all glamour and glory as people may think. The fashion industry is very competitive and demanding, both physically and mentally. There are days when you're on set for 12 hours straight and still have to look perfect in front of the camera. It can get exhausting and demoralizing at times but that's what makes me love it so much.
When I'm not working, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and running along Central Park's paths. In
