I've always been a bit of an oddball. My parents were hippies who took me on all sorts of wild adventures when I was growing up - we'd drive across the country in our VW van, attend music festivals and protest rallies, and live off the grid for months at a time. As a result, I grew up with a real sense of independence and self-reliance.
I've always had a bit of a fascination with the way people present themselves to the world - how they dress, speak, act, etc. I think this is because I was always the odd one out in school, and I learned early on that if you wanted to fit in, you had to change who you were just a little bit.
These days, I'm kind of a jack-of-all-trades type person - I work as a model, but I also do freelance writing and editing for various publications. My style is pretty eclectic, I guess - I like a good mix of high fashion and thrift store chic. And yeah, I'm probably most famous around these parts for my outrageous outfits on the runway - I've been known to wear everything from ball gowns made of trash bags to leather corsets with sequined tutus attached to them.
