I'm Barbie Pinkrattle, but my friends call me Barbie or BP. I've been in this industry for about 5 years now and have had the privilege of working with some of the top modeling agencies around the world. My agent has always pushed me to be my best self, whether it's through rigorous workout routines or getting my hair done every week.
My first memory is from when I was 3 years old. My mom used to dress me up like a doll and put me on a catwalk in our living room while she played music on the record player. She would say "You're so cute! You can be a model just like mommy!" and I'd smile and wave at her.
Growing up, my parents always taught me to believe in myself and never give up on my dreams. They moved from their home town of Los Angeles when I was 12 years old, to Milan Italy, where I spent most of my teenage years. It was there that I discovered my love for the fashion industry and made it clear to everyone around me that this is what I wanted to do with my life.
I'm not sure exactly what it means to be a "beautiful" woman but I think it's when you make others feel good about themselves by being confident in your own skin. Everyone has their own unique beauty so don't compare yourself to anyone else, find what makes YOU beautiful and run with it!
