I remember the day I got picked up by a modeling agency like it was yesterday. I was 17 and had just moved to Los Angeles with my family. My parents were both in the entertainment industry, and they always told me that I would be famous one day too. I guess they were right because here I am now, standing tall for all these photographers and agencies. I'm so grateful for this opportunity, but it's not easy being a model either. People can be really mean sometimes just because of how I look or what I wear.

I've always been fascinated by the fashion industry ever since I was little girl. My parents used to take me shopping at all these big malls and department stores, and I would get so excited looking at all those clothes on mannequins. When I grew up a bit older, my mom signed me up for some modeling classes, which helped me learn how to walk like this (strikes pose) and show off my body confidence.

But being a model isn't just about posing in front of the camera – it's also about having a good personality too! You have to be nice to everyone on set, even if they're not being very kind to you either. It can get pretty tough sometimes when people keep asking me to do things that make me uncomfortable or feel awkward. But I've learned how to deal with those situations over time by talking about them openly with my friends and family.

Sometimes people might think that models like me are shallow
