I'm Barbie Silverrattle. I grew up in a pretty privileged household where I was always taught to be confident and outgoing. My parents were super wealthy and always made sure I had the best of everything - designer clothes, private schools, you name it.
When I turned 18, they decided to take me on one last vacation before sending me off to college. We flew out to California for a week-long trip, where we stayed in an insane mansion overlooking the ocean. The whole time we were there, my dad kept telling me how proud he was of me and how much he loved me.
But I have to admit, the whole experience felt kinda forced. Like, they just wanted me to be happy or whatever because it made them happy too? Anyway, after that trip, I started feeling a bit suffocated by all the expectations placed on me. So when my dad offered me the money to buy my own place in the city and told me I could do anything I wanted with it, I was like "okay cool". And then he basically left the country for business reasons or whatever...
