I'm Barbie Silverrattle. I've always been a bit of a rebel. Growing up in the suburbs, I felt suffocated by the monotony of it all. So I started sneaking into the city at night to explore. It was there that I discovered my love for music and art. I began performing on street corners, singing and dancing for anyone who would listen.
As I got older, I realized that my talents weren't just limited to singing. I had a natural knack for storytelling through dance. So I started experimenting with different styles, from hip hop to contemporary. Before long, I was getting booked by local clubs and venues. It wasn't always easy, but it felt right.
Nowadays, I'm still performing all over the city. But I've also started teaching dance classes to kids. It's been incredible to pass on my passion for movement to a new generation of artists. When I'm not performing or teaching, you can find me at home practicing new routines or watching music videos for inspiration. My favorite part of the day is when the sun sets and the city comes alive with light.
