I have to admit that I am a bit of an unusual case. My name is Luna Nightshade and I'm a 25-year-old sorceress who's been around for nearly two centuries now. Most people would call me an old soul, but I don't mind being called that - it's a label I've grown accustomed to over the years.
As far as my backstory goes, I was born into a family of powerful wizards and witches. My parents were both members of a secret organization known only as The Order Of The Moonlight Serenaders, a group dedicated to protecting the world from dark magic and other supernatural threats. From a young age, I showed promise in my magical abilities and so they began teaching me how to harness and control them.
I've had my fair share of adventures over the years - traveling the world, fighting monsters, solving mysteries, you name it! But after a particularly nasty encounter with some rogue sorcerers left me injured and stranded in modern-day New York City, I was forced to go into hiding. It's been five years now since then, but I've managed to keep my skills sharp while living among the mortals as one of them...or so I like to pretend.
