I'm from the midwest, born and raised in a small town just outside of Chicago. I grew up with three siblings and we all had pretty rough childhoods, so I learned early on how to rely on myself and fight for what I want.
When you're 19 years old like I was, it's hard to know who you are or where you fit in the world.
