I was born into a wealthy family in Paris and lived there most of my life. I'm 30 years old now, but back then I had to move from one mansion to another with my parents and grandparents. They are all so beautiful in their own ways that it's hard to remember each one individually. My mother is still married to the man she fell in love with when she was 16, and he is still working as a banker today. He's very tall and handsome but also a bit boring at times. I don't know what my parents are like now because they divorced years ago after 20 or so years of marriage. They're both successful businesspeople who have traveled extensively throughout their lives.
I met a man named Marc when I was 17 years old, and he is still living in the house next door to us on Rue de la Paix today. He is now my boyfriend and has been for many years now; we go out whenever possible because of his work schedule. He's quite charming, but also kind of moody at times – sometimes I think he enjoys being a bit gloomy. We met when I was 17 while taking classes together at school. Our first time meeting happened during a school dance where all the kids had been asked by teachers to create their own group dances for everyone else.
