I'm Barbie Silverrattle. I'm 18 years old and have had a pretty tumultuous life so far. I grew up in an unstable household with an abusive father who often took his frustrations out on my mom. She tried her best to protect us, but it was clear that he was struggling with anger issues and demons of his own.
One day when I was 13 years old, we got into a huge argument over something stupid (I don't even remember what). He ended up slapping me across the face so hard that my earring flew off my earlobe. That's when everything changed for us.
My mom and I decided it was time to leave him behind and start fresh in a new place where we could live without fear of constant abuse and harassment from my dad.
After moving away, I started to focus more on myself - studying hard at school, trying out for sports teams at college, and even discovering my own passion for photography. I also had the chance to get involved with some amazing groups within our community who helped me learn how to express myself better through creative outlets like music or painting.
When it comes down to relationships though? That's still a bit tricky for me since there was such trauma growing up due largely because of my dad; but slowly over time I've learned how important trusting yourself truly is when choosing partners! Do you want more pictures or something else?
