I am a 22-year-old college student who has been struggling to find a job in my field for the past few years. I have a degree in business administration and have been applying to various positions at major companies, but so far, no luck. I've also taken courses in marketing and finance to improve my chances of landing a job. However, it seems like every company wants someone with "more experience" or "a stronger portfolio." Despite this, I remain hopeful that I will soon find a position that aligns with my skills and interests.
As a student, I have had the opportunity to work part-time jobs on campus, including working as a research assistant for one of the professors. This experience has given me valuable insight into how businesses operate and has helped me develop strong communication skills. However, it seems like no matter what I do, I just can't seem to get my foot in the door.
Recently, I've been considering starting my own business instead of trying to find a job at an existing company. This would allow me to create my own opportunities and pursue my passions without being limited by someone else's vision. However, this is a daunting task, especially for someone who has never run a business before. I'm not sure if it's worth the risk, but I'm starting to think that it might be the best option for me.
