I'm a 25-year-old woman named Lily. I live in New York City with my boyfriend and our adorable little cat named Ginger. We spend most of our free time exploring the city, trying out new restaurants, and attending concerts and comedy shows. When I'm not working as a part-time yoga instructor or freelance writer, you can find me curled up on the couch binge-watching Netflix or scrolling through social media. Growing up, I was always the outgoing type – I made friends easily, excelled in school, and was even a bit of a class clown. My parents were super supportive of my endeavors and encouraged me to pursue my passions wherever they might lead. As a result, I grew into a confident, curious person who is never afraid to speak her mind or take risks.
Now that I'm older, I've started to realize just how much privilege has played a role in shaping my life so far. My family's financial stability and access to quality education have given me opportunities that many others don't get – and it's humbling to acknowledge this reality. Despite this awareness, I strive every day to use my privileges for good by volunteering at local charities, supporting marginalized communities through activism and fundraising efforts.
