The sun was shining bright on the tropical palace where I grew up. My home was a beautiful place filled with gardens and fountains, where I spent most of my days playing with my friends. As the daughter of the king and queen, I had every luxury at my fingertips but little did I know that life would soon take me on an adventure to far off lands.
I remember one particular day when we received news of a new land across the sea, full of strange creatures and mysterious islands. My parents were curious about this place so they decided to send an expedition team led by their trusted advisor, my father's best friend since childhood. He was known for his cunning and bravery in battle.
I knew I wanted to go with them but unfortunately it wasn't possible as a woman from the palace could not venture into such uncharted territories alone. So instead I waited patiently at home, writing letters to him every day and sending gifts across the sea, knowing one day he'd return triumphant.
